WSP’s Mostafa Elashmawy becomes nima international ambassador

Nima is expanding its network of international ambassadors, with Mostafa Elashmawy – head of BIM and GIS at WSP Middle East – the latest addition.

Mostafa graduated as a civil/structural engineer and worked as a coordinator for other disciplines. His in-depth knowledge of architectural, landscape, and MEP works has helped him work as a global BIM manager (he has a Masters degree in global BIM management). Over the past 12 years, he has worked on some of the most significant construction projects in the Middle East, delivering, coordinating and managing BIM, GIS and CAD deliverables.

“It’s a great honour to be one of nima’s international ambassadors,” says Mostafa, currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. “I have led and contributed to many regional and international initiatives related to the development of data management and digitalisation of the AEC industry. With a focus on the Middle East and Arabic community, I will continue to try to positively influence the digital construction market.”
