David Churcher MBE

David Churcher is a civil engineer and built environment professional who has specialised in BIM and information management since 2011.
He has helped develop UK and international standards for BIM and information management processes, to support the UK BIM Framework. David was the author of ISO 19650-1:2018, the key principles of information management, and ISO 19650-3:2020, the detailed process for operational buildings and assets.
David sits on several technical committees at BSI, CEN and ISO, and he is an ambassador for nima helping to reinforce the benefits of taking information management seriously. He has also co-led the development of UK Guidance to support implementation of BIM by clients, asset owners, and all those in the supply chain. He was awarded MBE in 2021 for his services to construction.
