Congresso Português de ‘Building Information Modelling’

The growing importance of the digital representation of construction elements, made possible by ‘Building Information Modelling’ (BIM) methodologies, is introducing very relevant changes in design, construction and operations management. These digital processes introduce new relationship paradigms between the various entities involved, with a major impact on the ways of developing work.

The objective of the PTBIM Congress is to promote a technical-scientific discussion forum in Portuguese, involving the active participation of the professional and academic communities in the areas of architecture and engineering. The aim is to emphasize the problems and implementation efforts in the construction industry and reinforce the networks of professionals who incorporate BIM practices into their activities.
