Welcome to IM4Culture!

Cultural institutions have much to gain through sharing experiences of (B)IM use and implementation. This group serves to share and discuss various aspects of implementation to increase awareness of the opportunities and to provide a level of comfort that there is support available through nima and buildingSMART UK & Ireland.

Future events can be found on the nima events page here.

THE DIGITAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGY FOR CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS

Cultural institutions lead by the National Gallery in London, come together to share (B)IM implementation experiences in order to expedite the adoption of standardised information management processes that will positively impact their operations.

Specific projects to create guidance and resources that help other cultural institutions accelerate (B)IM adoption will learn from current nima projects and add content relevant to us.

Our work seeks to improve IM working relationships with all parts of the construction and built environment sectors.

We have similar challenges to other domains and look to learn from all nima Community groups but particularly:

BIM4Heritage, IM4Legal, IM for Decarbonisation and IM for Real Estate.
