Varun Soni is the Founder and Director of Property Smart Group and one of the UK’s leading voices in building safety and information management. With a background in architecture and a belief that “we shape our buildings, and thereafter they shape us,” he has dedicated his career to making buildings safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
He is involved at policy and guidance level for the Building Safety Act 2022 and contributes to standards development in information management and fire safety, including BS 8644-1 and BS 8670-2.
Through Property Smart Group, Varun leads both his own development projects and consultancy projects, helping clients navigate the Building Safety Act, embed the Golden Thread, and deliver future-proof asset strategies bringing the same insight and influence that have shaped national reform in building safety and compliance.
