International Ambassador in Dubai!
As part of nima’s new identity, we are leaning on our already increasing global influence, announcing that Andy Boutle is reconnecting with us as an international ambassador.
Before his move to join ALEC in the UAE in January 2022, Andy was a core part of the UK BIM Alliance team as Engagement Co-Lead. Now firmly embedded in his new role, Andy has accepted the invitation to join nima as an international ambassador.
As Head of Digital Construction, Andy is responsible for driving digital transformation with information management using BIM at the core. Running a department of 11 BIM specialists, he supports the delivery of mega-projects across the MENA region, leading information management in alignment to ISO 19650. He also has a mission to fully digitize workflows/processes by moving file-based activities to online, database-driven, dynamic resources, to drive automation and reduce repetitive data entry and human error.
Andy is also connecting with the buildingSMART UAE Chapter, to accelerate the understanding and adoption of OpenBIM ways of working in the region.
We look forward to working with Andy again and welcome him back to the team, supporting him in connecting and inspiring people around the world.
