GIIG’s CCS project shortlisted for award
A project undertaken by the GIIG (nima’s not-for-profit consultancy arm) for the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has been shortlisted for an award.
The GIIG focuses on practical ways to enable efficient information flows in construction and asset management. It helps organisations to create and manage reliable information that will remain findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR).
It was commissioned by CCS to undertake a customer discovery project, exploring the extent to which a selection of CCS customers considered interoperability in their procurement of IT services and products. The “interoperable procurement” project (report here) is one of five finalists shortlisted for an iStandUK award in the iNetwork Innovation Awards 2024-2025 (iNetwork is a UK membership organisation supporting public sector innovation and change to enhance service delivery for citizens).
The awards cover eight categories and are subject to a public vote, which closes at midnight on 15 January 2025 (please vote). The results will be announced at an awards dinner in Manchester on 27 February 2025.
