Webinar – Understanding ISO 19650-6: health and safety information management
Project Safety Journal in association with Ideagen is hosting a webinar at 10.30am GMT on 19 March 2024.
The forthcoming launch of BS EN ISO 19650-6 will not only complete the transition of the PAS 1192 series to international standards, but also introduce much-needed guidance relating to the information management of health and safety information.
Broadly, the standard will cover three areas:
- what health and safety information is and how to structure this information
- how to incorporate requirements relating to health and safety information into tender documentation like the exchange information requirements (EIR); and
- how it augments the existing process within BS EN ISO 19650-2 and BS EN ISO 19650-3.
In this webinar, 19650-6 author Nick Nisbet will give the inside track on the development of the standard and the feedback he has received so far from the industry. In the second half of the webinar, Ideagen Mail Manager will focus on an often-neglected part of information management: email management. Email is by far the most common project correspondence tool, but poor management can mean project information is lost and time is wasted searching emails.
