UWE BIM event 2026 – Digital Construction and AI: Who’s in Control?

The UWE Conference 2026 marks the third year in a row of this growing annual event series at UWE Bristol, building on the success of Are We There Yet? and Digital Construction Climate Nexus. This year’s event, “Digital Construction and AI: Who’s in Control?”, brings together industry and academia to examine one of the most pressing questions facing the built environment today. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in construction, education, research, and decision-making, the conference will explore how innovation can be advanced while retaining human responsibility, critical judgment, and accountability. Through keynote talks, breakout sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, the event will create space for timely and challenging discussion on the future of digital construction.
