Transform Together: Digitising The Built Environment

A Department of Business & Trade and Construction Leadership Council event, hosted at Autodesk’s Birmingham office, Digitising the Built Environment is an in-person event to engage industry in support of digitalisation of planning and building control processes. It will explore how these processes can be integrated with wider digitisation and information management within the built environment, bringing together a focused group across Government, industry and academia to explore the current challenges and opportunities for digitisation.

The event is intended to kick-start a community to support the delivery of policy objectives such as planning reform and improving building safety, as well as driving digitisation to improve the long-term productivity and sustainability of the built environment, with a focus on gathering insight from a wide range of stakeholders.

The event will capture feedback from attendee’s on industry challenges and opportunities following an introduction from HMG on progress to date and support needed.

Following the event the feedback will be utilised to help inform the future direction of Information Management and Construct AI.
