London Build 2025
Hear from nima….
19 November 2025, 1pm GMT: How to drive change: why an internal ‘Information Management Initiative Mandate’ matters
Overview: The launch of the Information Management Initiative (IMI) in November 2024 by nima and the Construction Leadership Council aimed to improve approaches to managing information and so enable better performance and greater efficiencies across the whole asset lifecycle. In this session, nima information management specialists will share the progress of the IMI over the past 12 months, the projects it is informing and the industry change-makers already implementing their own internal IMI Mandates.
20 November, 3pm GMT: From Information to Impact: Unlocking the Power of the IMI
Overview: By creating a data-centric mindset we can realise better project controls, better information management and better outcomes. But before we get to this point we need to understand what data we need and, more importantly, how to identify good data.
In November 2024, nima and the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) launched the Information Management Initiative (IMI), designed to transform information and data management practices across the built and managed environment. It focuses on improving industry productivity, cutting costs, saving time and enhancing quality by better managing information throughout asset lifecycles.
In this session nima industry information management specialists will break down the benefits of the IMI and how to put them into practice so that we can build more confidently and make better data-driven decisions.
