Information Management/BIM Standard ISO 19650: What’s changing, and how to have your say
All ISO standards are reviewed every five years to check whether revisions are needed. ISO 19650 Parts 1, 2 and 3 have now reached this point. We have learned a lot about how these standards are implemented and received many suggestions for how they could be improved.
This presentation to the London Constructing Excellence Club, from one of the ISO Project Leaders, will summarise the most significant changes that are being proposed, including revisions to terminology and to the information management process. The event will also explain how UK practitioners can provide their comments as part of the public consultation.
This event will be of interest to any clients, asset owners, consultants, contractors or suppliers using ISO 19650 to manage project and asset information, especially those implementing the UK’s Information Management Initiative Framework.
