Dr Suha Jaradat is Associate Professor of Architectural Technology (AT) and has held several strategic positions including Head of Construction, Built Environment Research Lead, and Leader for AT programmes.
She is recognised as Principal Fellow of Advance Higher Education (PFHEA), Chartered Architectural Technologist and Fellow (FCIAT), Chartered Building Engineer and Fellow (FCABE). She co-Leads an interdisciplinary research Centre for Mind, Creativity and Environment Research in which she developed strong links with the industry and been successful in securing significant external funding to support teaching and research. She was appointed Advisory Group Member for QAA Subject Benchmark Statement for AT and Judge for AT Awards. In recognition of her achievements to the workplace and society, she was recognised among the Top 50 Influential Muslim Awards– Europe 2023, and shortlisted for the Times Higher Education (THE) Most Innovative Teacher of the Year 2024 Awards for her outstanding work to internationalise the curriculum, develop the first work-based learning programme in AT, and improve diversity in construction.
