Richard Robinson is the Chief Executive Officer of AtkinsRéalis’ UK and Europe business, leading a team of over 10,000 design, engineering and project management professionals working across multiple sectors including transportation, water, property, aerospace, defence and security.
A Chartered Chemical Engineer, Richard has over 20 years’ experience in heavy industry and engineering, and has overseen transformational levels of business growth throughout his career. He is passionate about leading change across the industry, recognising the need to improve performance through data and technology driven collaboration. Which is why Richard is introducing the new Information Management Initiative.
Richard will tell us why the Construction Leadership Council feels, and why he personally agrees, that now is the time for industry to lead the way in getting better at managing our data and information.
He will explain what he sees is the compelling need for this, and the main players who are making this happen, but need wider support.
Following Richard, Dr Anne Kemp OBE, Chair of nima, will then describe what the Initiative is and how you can get involved.
