In this unique virtual environment there are six Virtual Networking Rooms, each with their own topic area for discussion, insight and real-world experience. They will demonstrate Information Management learning and progression within the built and managed environment.

You have landed in the Everything you need to know about the Information Management Initiative (IMI) Virtual Networking Room facilitated by nima.

nima is a not-for-profit virtual organisation. A volunteer-led group, it promotes information management best practices, helping to support digital transformation across the built and managed environment. nima incorporates buildingSMART UK & Ireland and the GIIG. Together with the British Standards Institution, it maintains the UK BIM Framework, the overarching approach to implementing BIM in the UK. And in partnership with the Construction Leadership Council, it is developing the Information Management Initiative (IMI).

In this room there will be the opportunity to discuss all things related to the new Information Management Initiative – what it is, why it is needed and how to maximise this to benefit your organisation and projects.

Each networking room is open from 08:00 to 18:00 and will be facilitated through a combination of subject matter experts, thought leaders and future thinkers! This means there will be an abundance of people to talk to and connect with throughout the whole day.
