BIM4Water boosts steering group
Water industry information management network BIM4Water has recruited two new members to its steering group.
Roi Otero
Roi’s career includes working in construction, gaining early experience in BIM and digital delivery, before spending 11 years with a water utility, and then joining Autodesk in 2023. Roi’s current role is a Senior Manager – Water Industry & Business Strategy, at Autodesk, where he works with customers, industry partners and internal teams to support digital transformation across the water sector. His role focuses on aligning market dynamics, industry needs, and business strategy, to improve digital maturity, technology adoption and decision-making across the water asset lifecycle. He brings both technology and operator-side perspectives to his role, and is keen to support the practical adoption of Better Information Management practices across the sector, with a focus on improving collaboration, resilience, efficiency and long-term outcomes for the public and the environment.
Marcus Chambers
Marcus is the UK & Ireland Information Management Lead for Stantec, and is responsible for developing and embedding information management capability across the water sector. With over 25 years’ experience across infrastructure, utilities and broader construction, Marcus specialises in information management, governance, business process improvement and digital transformation. He has previously led the development of enterprise information management frameworks, governance models and digital operating practices that improve consistency, compliance and the value organisations derive from their information assets. Marcus is passionate about connecting people, process, data and technology to drive meaningful insight.
