Explore nima’s networks
As a not-for-profit virtual organisation, nima draws extensively upon its extensive networks of volunteers. Many of these have organised themselves into groups active in particular industry disciplines – from the water, rail and power sectors to social housing, estates management and the legal profession, among others. Their activities share learning from subject matter experts, while also embracing those just starting their information management journeys.

nima incorporates bSUKI, the UK and Ireland Chapter of buildingSMART International. Together, we are responsible for gathering industry requirements and representing the UK and Ireland’s needs at international level. When standards are being developed, we help to ensure these needs are catered for.
The GIIG is a not-for-profit consultancy business focussed on practical ways to enable efficient information flows in construction and asset management. It helps organisations to create and manage reliable information that will remain findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR).
