Exploit nima’s knowledge

Many of nima’s volunteers have accumulated decades of experience in information and data management in the built and managed environment. We turn that knowledge and learning into usable resources that will help you address your current professional challenges and prepare for future opportunities.

nima people help maintain the IMI Framework (formerly the UK BIM Framework) guidance. They have shared success stories. And they continue to share reports, videos, podcasts and other social media content demonstrating information management good practices, discussing topical issues and events, and developing new approaches.

Many of these have organised themselves into groups active in particular industry disciplines – from the water, rail and power sectors to social housing, estates management and the legal profession, among others. Their activities share learning from subject matter experts, while also embracing those just starting their information management journeys.
